Dhritirashtra is seen on the left here and Virudhaka on the right. Dhritirashtra ( Tib: Yulkhorsung) is the guardian of the east and the chief of the Gandarvas ( Skt. for "smell eaters"). Virudhaka (Tib: Chemicsang) is the guardian of the south and leader of Supuche (Tib. for "Big Bellied Ones").
